Guide For Choosing Your Vendors

With so many vendors to choose from for your wedding day, it can be stressful to know where to start. I’m here to help with a guide for choosing your vendors!

SET A BUDGET & CHOOSE A WEDDING PLANNER

We all know how hard it is to stick to a budget… However, you’ll thank yourself in the long run when you stick to your wedding budget. The biggest regret I hear from weddings is not hiring a wedding planner. They really can be your greatest treasure for your wedding and end up saving you so much money! Wedding planners can make your dream wedding happen no matter your budget.

KNOW WHAT YOUR PRIORITIES ARE

After your budget is set, list what your priorities are. What are you and your partner’s must haves? The flowers, the food, the location? Check off all your priorities first!

PICK THE BEST TEAM FOR YOUR BIG DAY

Be sure to choose the vendors that will put in the time to create your dream wedding. Having a wedding planner can be SUPER helpful when in the “choosing vendors” process.

Some things to think about are:

• Ask for referrals.
  • Ask a vendor for a referral! They might be able to refer others for the rest of the team. I also have a list of recommended vendors that I love working with!
• Look for a venue that will allow you to hire whatever vendor you want, not the ones they want you to work with.
• Look at social media and website for first impressions, reviews, and comments.
• See vendors in action
  • A big one to think about is booking a band. If you’re looking to book a band, see them perform prior to hiring them! If you like them, be sure to book them 12-15 months out! They can get booked up so quickly!
