Details to Have Ready for Your Wedding Photographer

September 26, 2022

Wedding Tips, Weddings

No need to worry, soon-to-be newlyweds, Shalae Byrd Photography is here to let you in on ALL the details you want to have ready to go when your wedding photographer arrives on your BIG DAY! From your invitation suite to your rings, and everything in between, we are talking about it all! First things first, when am I going to need all your details? A quick answer… the beginning of the day! The faster I shoot those, the faster you can have your rings, tie, or perfume back!

Let’s start our list off with your invitation suite. Your invitation suite includes the save the dates or announcements, the invitations, the response cards, the reception cards, the wedding program, the menu card, the thank you cards, and anything else paper. OH! And don’t forget the envelopes!!! Oops… I almost forgot the envelopes!

One of the reasons why I shoot the details first is so you can have all your accessories back in time to walk down the aisle! Accessories you will want to have ready is up to you. Some of the most common ideas for the couple are the RINGS, earrings, necklace, bracelet, shoes, perfume/cologne, tie, and belt. Another BIG thing for detail pictures is having PLENTY of extra florals. Florals bring the final touch to every detail photo, so don’t forget to ask your florists about flatlay florals!

Check out the gallery below to see some of my favorite detail shots I have taken or check out my Pinterest page to see more details to have ready for your wedding photographer! Let your creativity shine!
