Riley & Jessica’s Heirloom Wedding Day

Riley and Jessica Rainwater’s wedding day was recently featured in Style Me Pretty, and I’m so excited to finally share more from this truly unforgettable day!

Their fairytale day was French Country–inspired, layered with meaningful heirloom details at every turn. It was a true family affair, hosted at the bride’s family home. Jessica’s father hand-built the barn on their property specifically for the wedding, originally planning for it to become a sheep barn afterward. Once completed, the family realized it was too special not to share, and it has since become a place for hosting gatherings with friends and family. Set among green pastures and a peaceful pond, the rustic-chic barn felt both elevated and deeply personal.

The ceremony took place overlooking the pond in her family’s backyard, framed by nothing but clear blue skies on a late May day. Cocktail hour and the reception followed at the family barn, where every detail felt thoughtfully placed. Inspired by all things royal family, the bride wove that love into the design through family heirloom china and a timeless blue-and-white color palette. 

Personal touches made the day unmistakably theirs—from the “Duck Duck Raz” signature cocktail, complete with mini rubber ducks, to the pie bar, fresh bananas foster station, and entertainment throughout the night. The celebration truly kicked off with tambourines for every guest and a live band, and it ended in the most unforgettable way: Riley and Jessica joining the band on stage to sing and play guitar together.

The Rainwaters created a wedding that was as intentional and heartfelt as it was beautiful, and I’m so honored to have been able to capture it!
