It’s FALL WEDDING SEASON and there are SOOOOO many items you can incorporate into your wedding to create the warm and cozy feeling of fall we all love. I have so many good ideas up my sleeve… let’s jump right in!
I don’t drink, BUT those signature drinks need some spicing up! I’m thinking apple, pumpkin, cinnamon and nutmeg! Oooo, pear, cranberry, caramel… so yum. Your guests are going to be talking about your wedding cocktails for MONTHS. Do you love margaritas? Add a fall ingredient and BAM! A fall inspired cocktail.
It is hard to find a party favor that every guest will enjoy (or even use), and I’m just thinking of myself here and what I like as a party favor… 🙂 A blanket! Imagine… it is chilly, fireplace is going, pumpkin spice candle is lit, and you’re ready to start Halloweentown… all you are missing is a cozy throw. Am I right?? You are going to LOVE Jack and Jill for giving you a blanket!
Warm metals are going to be your best friend for a fall wedding! Adding a HINT of a warm metal (like gold, copper, or even matte black!) can add the touch of fall you’re looking for but keep your wedding looking contemporary!
Incorporating more fall flowers and leaves into your décor is definitely going to make your wedding look very seasonal. If you are trying to stay contemporary, try some chrysanthemums!
A very common shade of bridesmaid’s dresses for fall is shades of nude! If you are wanting to spice it up, try emerald green, burnt orange, dusty blue, or burgundy!
The accessories you wear on your big day can say A LOT about the style you are going for. Try a floral headpiece or dramatic colorful shoes! You can never go wrong with your bridal details. Let your personality show with this one!
Just like the cocktail ingredients we talked about above, you can also choose a fall inspired cake flavor! Flavors like pumpkin (obviously), caramel apple, coffee, or carrot!
